Triskele - Triple Spiral
A triskele or triskelion is a geometric shape consisting of three interlocked spirals or three bent/curved lines extending from the center of the symbol. The symbol has multiple cultural origins, including Celtic and Hindu, and that it has often been used to represent progressive motion and the fruitful integration of three elements. Some of these connotations include: life-death-rebirth, spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, past-present-future, power-intellect-love and creation-preservation-destruction to name but a few. The triskele is also a symbol of the Trinity (i.e., Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and, therefore, also a symbol of eternity and often standing for the "three realms" - Land, Sea and Sky.
